Alex Cha
400 Capital Management
Alex Cha is a Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at 400 Capital Management. He serves as a member of the Investment and Executive Committees. Alex is responsible for asset allocation, sector selection, asset selection, trading and risk management. He joined 400CM from Banc of America Securities where he was the Head of ABS Credit Trading, responsible for a team of traders and quantitative analysts committing capital in private label residential mortgage backed securities, credit derivatives, whole loans and residuals. During his fourteen-year tenure at BAS, Alex also spent time in London developing the firm’s expertise in dollar and non-dollar denominated ABS as Head of European ABS trading and syndicate. Prior to London, Alex‘s trading responsibilities included Head of Structured Finance, Collateralized Debt Obligations (“CDOs”) trading and syndicate, Agency Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (“CMOs”) trading and ABS trading. Before joining the financial industry, Alex worked at Lockheed Martin where his primary responsibility was Naval Weapons Systems design for the U.S. Navy. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Alex also holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Daegwon Chae
Bond Capital
Daegwon is a General Partner at Bond Capital and has led investments in Halter, inDrive, Kavak, OpenAI, Revolut, and Wiz, among others. Prior to Bond, he was a Principal at Kleiner Perkins, where he invested in Brex, Peloton, and Robinhood. Daegwon began his career at Goldman Sachs in their Special Situations Group, where he invested in private technology companies as a member of the Private Capital Investing team.

Alex Chi
Carlyle
Alex Chi is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Global Credit and Head of Direct Lending at Carlyle. Mr. Chi is also Chief Executive Officer and President of Carlyle’s affiliated Business Development Companies and serves on the Global Credit Investment Committee. He is a member of the firm’s Leadership Committee and is based in New York.
Mr. Chi joined Carlyle in 2026. Prior to joining Carlyle, he was a partner at Goldman Sachs where he spent 31 years and most recently served as Co-Head of Americas Direct Lending within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He also served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-President of Goldman Sachs’ affiliated Business Development Companies and was a member of the Asset & Wealth Management Private Credit Investment Committee.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Chi spent 25 years in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in a variety of leadership roles across the Financial and Strategic Investors Group, Leveraged Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Fixed Income Capital Markets and Information Technology in New York, Hong Kong and Seoul. He also served on the firm’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Council and was global head of the Asian Network which he co-founded.
Mr. Chi currently serves on the National Advisory Council of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM), the Board of Directors of the JED Foundation and the National Advisory Board of the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center. He also previously served three terms on the Board of Directors of the Korean American Community Foundation (KACF).
Mr. Chi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Thomas Cho
Wells Fargo
Tom is a Managing Director and the Head of Technology M&A for Wells Fargo Corporate and Investment Banking Group based in San Francisco. Tom has 30 years of experience in the investment banking industry and is currently responsible for originating and executing M&A and strategic advisory engagements in the broader Technology sector for public and private corporate clients. Prior to Wells Fargo, Tom spent over 20 years as the Head of TMT M&A at Deutsche Bank Securities primarily focused on software, digital media, and semiconductor industries.
After receiving his BSc. from the University of California at Berkeley, Tom started his career in New York before moving to San Francisco in 1997, and worked for UBS, Credit Suisse and most recently Deutsche Bank before ultimately joining Wells Fargo in 2024. Tom and his wife currently live in the Peninsula part of the Bay Area with their 2 daughters.

Brian Choi
Avis Budget Group
Brian Choi assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Avis Budget Group in July 2025, after holding the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer from 2024 to 2025. Prior to that, Mr. Choi was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2020 to 2024 and served on the Company’s Board of Directors from 2016 to 2020. Before joining Avis Budget Group, Mr. Choi was a partner at SRS Investment Management, LLC and certain affiliates, where he held various roles from 2008 to 2020. Earlier in his career, Mr. Choi served as an analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Choi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Prior to co-founding Tekton, Jai was a Partner at Partech beginning in 2006, where he led early-stage investments across the U.S., Asia, and Latin America. He brings over 25 years of early stage venture investing experience in Silicon Valley as an entrepreneur and global technology investor, and has backed more than 180 startups since Tekton’s inception, including Coupang (NYSE: CPNG), Toss, PayJoy, Outdoorsy, Frontier Car Group, GrubMarket, and Candex, among others. Jai has also held partner roles at Ignite Ventures. Earlier in his career, he began at PA Consulting Group, co-founded On-Air Networks (acquired by Loudeye), and was an early employee at OnePage Software (acquired by Sybase). He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

Karen Choi
Capital Group
Karen Choi is a partner and fixed income portfolio manager at Capital Group. She has 29 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 19 years. Earlier in her career at Capital, as a fixed income investment analyst, Karen covered utilities, regional banks, and non-bank financials in the U.S. Prior to joining Capital, she was a senior vice-president and fixed income analyst at AllianceBernstein and before that with Prudential Financial. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Wellesley College. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Karen is an appointed member of the Edison Electric Institute Wall Street Advisory Group (WSAG).
Karen is on the Board of the New York Women’s Foundation and previously served as Co-chair of the Board, and she is also active in local and global non-profit organizations. Karen is the co-founder and organizer of Women in Power and has chaired one of the inaugural inclusion committees in her workplace. Karen is also on the Board of Trustees at Horace Mann School.
Karen resides in CT with her husband/partner and four daughters.

Young Choi

Young Choi is a Partner and the Global Head of Trading at King Street and the Portfolio Manager of Rockford Tower Capital Management. He is based in New York and is a member of the Management Committee, Global Investment Committee, US and European CLO Investment Committees, Risk Committee and Pricing Committee.
Prior to joining King Street in 2006, Young worked at Citadel Investment Group as a Credit Analyst in the Distressed/High Yield Group and was Portfolio Manager of the firm’s $2 billion US leveraged loan and CLO portfolio. Prior to that, Young consulted at Bain & Co.

Patrick Chun

Patrick is Founding and Managing Partner of Juxtapose. As Managing Partner, Patrick is active across the firm's key pillars, working closely with the fund's leaders in concept development, user research, and talent identification. Patrick also participates meaningfully with the portfolio and its CEOs, including involvement at the board and advisory level. Prior to co-founding Juxtapose, Patrick spent a significant portion of his career building businesses at the inception stage, including partner level experience at early stage and company creation-oriented firms such as Thrive Capital and Accretive. Prior to his building experience, Patrick was a venture and growth equity investor at Bain Capital Ventures and Francisco Partners. He started his career at McKinsey & Company. Andrew Chung

Andrew Chung founded Innovo Property Group (“IPG”) in 2015. Prior to starting IPG, Andrew Chung was a Partner at The Carlyle Group in the U.S. Real Estate Fund. He served as head of the New York office for the Real Estate Fund for 10 years.
Mr. Chung is currently a member of the Advisory Board for NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. He was also recognized by ranking in the New York Observer’s “Power 100: The Most Powerful People in NY Real Estate” in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Ann Chung is a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Consumer for Blackstone Growth based in New York. Since joining Blackstone in 2020, Ms. Chung has led investments in Oatly, Spanx, Supergoop, and Weee.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Ms. Chung held roles at Fremont Private Holdings, the direct investing arm of the Bechtel family office, and J.H. Whitney Capital Partners where she led all consumer and consumer-impacted investments. Ms. Chung has also held positions with Swander Pace Capital, L Catterton, and Wachovia Securities and served on the boards of Alphia, Accupac, and Merrick Pet Care.

Edward Han

Ed Han is the Chief Financial Officer of Hudson Bay Capital, having most recently served as the firm’s Deputy Chief Operating Officer since joining in 2024. Prior to Hudson Bay, Mr. Han was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America, where he led strategic advisory for clients in the alternative asset management, specialty finance, and financial technology sectors. He joined Bank of America in 2013.
Before that, Mr. Han was part of the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank Securities, focusing on specialty finance, where he began in 2008. Earlier in his career, Mr. Han served as a United States Marine Corps Infantry Officer, attaining the rank of Captain and earning combat distinction during the Global War on Terror and Operation Iraqi Freedom (1994–2006).

David K. Hong
Paul Hastings
David K. Hong is a partner in the Financial Restructuring group at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office.
With his deep knowledge in both cash and synthetic credit products, David advises sophisticated investors and corporations in identifying and implementing creative liability management transactions, bespoke credit transactions, opportunistic private credit financing transactions and CDS transactions.
David has been involved in the design and implementation of some of the most complex liability management transactions, such as Envision Healthcare, West Marine and Dish. He represents ad hoc groups of creditors in stressed and distressed situations and advises investment managers on complex, bespoke and structured financing transactions by helping to formulate financing opportunities within the parameters of existing debt covenants.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, David was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis. Prior to Kirkland, he was a senior investment counsel at King Street Capital Management, a leading global credit-oriented investment firm, where he played a critical role in identifying legal value drivers, structuring private credit and derivative transactions, and co-leading many of the firm’s most successful and high-profile stressed and distressed investments.
David also has extensive experience in CDS, having been a member of ISDA’s CSC leadership team and playing a key role in the structuring, drafting and the implementation of the various rules governing CDS since 2008, including the Determinations Committee rules, the Big Bang Protocol, the 2014 Definitions and most recently, the 2019 NTCE Supplement.

In Seon Hwang is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ascend Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm devoted to improving the quality, affordability and accessibility of healthcare to underserved and disadvantaged communities. Prior to founding Ascend, In Seon was the global head of the Healthcare Group and member of the Executive Management Group at Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm. Han Kim is a Managing Director and co-founder of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments in the areas of mobile and software services. Altos Ventures established the first foreign VC fund dedicated to Korea in 2014with committed size of $60 million.
Subsequently, Altos Ventures organized its second dedicated Korea fund of $110 million in 2015.Han currently serves on the boards of numerous Korea based private companies. Before co-founding Altos Ventures in 1996, Han worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton as a consultant, solving strategic and operational issues for global media, retail and distribution companies. John S. Kim
John S. Kim is the CEO of Delight.ai, an enterprise AI agent platform built upon the robust infrastructure of Sendbird. Leveraging Sendbird’s technology—which serves over 300M monthly active users for global leaders like DoorDash, Netflix, Match Group, and Yahoo!—John is now focused on the next generation of AI-driven customer service.
John led Sendbird through Y Combinator and raised over $220M in funding from ICONIQ Capital, Tiger Global, SoftBank Vision Fund, and others. His entrepreneurial journey began with Paprika Lab, a social gaming company he founded and sold to GREE.
Beyond operations, John is a General Partner at ASQ & Valon Capital, a venture firm specializing in AI, deep tech, and longevity. A frequent contributor to Forbes and TechCrunch and a guest lecturer at Stanford University, John graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Computer Science and from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He remains driven by a mission to change the trajectory of humanity through technology.

Lorence Kim
Ascenta Capital
Lorence Kim, M.D. is the co-founder and a Managing Partner of Ascenta Capital, a biotech venture capital firm. Previously, he was a Venture Partner at Third Rock Ventures from 2020 to 2022. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Moderna from April 2014 to June 2020, raising $4.4 billion of capital for the company and deploying resources to discover and advance a pipeline of 24 development candidates across infectious disease, oncology, rare disease and autoimmune disease, including the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Dr. Kim joined Moderna after an investment banking career at Goldman Sachs from 2000 to 2014, where he was a managing director and co-head of the U.S. biotechnology investment banking effort.
Dr. Kim currently serves on the boards of directors of Ascenta portfolio companies ADARx Pharmaceuticals, focused on RNA-targeting therapeutics, Tubulis, focused on antibody-drug conjugates, and Triana Biomedicines, focused on molecular glue degraders. He also serves on the boards of directors of Revolution Medicines (NASDAQ: RVMD), a clinical-stage oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for RAS-addicted cancers and Cencora (NYSE: COR), a global healthcare solutions provider. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the American Red Cross. He previously served on the boards of Cowen (NASDAQ: COWN), Seres Therapeutics (NASDAQ: MCRB), and Prep for Prep.
Dr. Kim graduated from Harvard University, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an A.B. in biochemical sciences in 1995. He earned an MBA in healthcare management as a Palmer Scholar from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine in 2000.

Mr. Kim is the Chairman of Bally’s Corporation and has served as an independent Director since 2016. He is the founding partner of investment firm Standard General and is the firm’s Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Kim has been investing in special situations strategies since 1997, starting at Bankers Trust Company, as a Principal at Och-Ziff Capital Management, and a Partner at Cyrus Capital Management. Mr. Kim is currently a Director of Intralot SA (GA:INLOT). He is a Director of Pursuit (fka Coalition for Queens), Vice Chairman and Director of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies and Director and former President of the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association. Melissa Ko

Melissa Ko is the Managing Member and the Chief Investment Officer of Covepoint Capital Advisors, LLC, a family office located in New York City. Previously, she served as a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co., a Partner at Blue Border Partners, the Head of Proprietary Trading in Emerging Market Currencies at Deutsche Bank, and the Head of the Latin American Currency Desk at Bankers Trust. Melissa has an extensive history as an Emerging Markets trader and investor going back to the early 1990s and was one of the architects of the Non-Deliverable Forward Market.
Melissa Ko earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, with a minor in Economics, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She also has a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Melissa serves as a member of the MIT Corporation Development Committee, a member of the MIT Political Science Visiting Committee and is on the International Advisory Board at the New York Philharmonic.

Theo Kwon is a Partner of Apollo Global Management, having joined in 2015. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Kwon was a Vice President at Angelo, Gordon & Co., from 2012 to 2015. Prior thereto, Mr. Kwon worked at Weston Presidio and was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Citigroup Inc.
Mr. Kwon serves on the Board of Directors as Chairman of Phoenix Education Partners, Inc. (NYSE: PXED), a publicly traded higher education services company, Board of Trustees of the University of Phoenix, a leading online university for working adult students, Board of Directors of Apollo Enterprise Strategies, a global services company that provides business critical solutions to Apollo’s strategic origination platforms, and the investment committee and oversight committee of Apollo Aligned Alternatives, a leading semi-liquid private markets fund with over $25 billion in diversified assets. Albert Lee
APG Asset Management
Albert Lee is a Senior Portfolio Manager with APG Asset Management US Inc., on the Infrastructure Americas team, based in the New York office. Albert is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing private infrastructure investments in the Americas. Prior to joining APG in December 2022, Albert spent close to 8 years at the University of California Office of the Chief Investment Officer (UC Investments) investing in diversified infrastructure, natural resources, and other uncorrelated opportunities for the ~$5 billion real assets portfolio. Prior to that, he was an Investment Banking Director with Barclays, in the Natural Resources Group. Albert received his undergraduate degree in Engineering Management Systems from Columbia University as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School.

David J. Lee is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for WEBTOON Entertainment, where he oversees the company’s global finance and operations organization. A seasoned consumer and technology industry executive, Mr. Lee brings over 25 years of experience across a variety of leadership roles.
Prior to WEBTOON, Mr. Lee was the Founder and CEO of Inevitable Tech while serving as a public company board member for a few passion projects. Previously, Mr. Lee was the COO & CFO of Impossible Foods, where he successfully led the company’s launch of the Impossible Burger and its nationwide distribution. Prior to Impossible Foods, Lee was the public company CFO of Zynga, where he led the company’s finance and corporate development teams, and helped lead the company’s transformation from web-based to mobile. From 2004 to 2012, Mr. Lee held leadership roles at Del Monte Foods while it was public, and led its take-private transaction, overseeing at various times the consumer products business, corporate strategic planning, government relations, corporate communications, and financial planning. Mr. Lee also led corporate finance, strategy and development for Best Buy during its transformation from 2012 to 2014.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lee worked in advertising at the Leo Burnett company and strategy at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Lee currently serves on the Board of Directors for Zevia ($ZVIA on NYSE) and WEBTOON ($WBTN on Nasdaq), where he has served on audit, comp, and nom/gov committees. Mr. Lee is a Fellow at the Council of Korean Americans and the Network of Korean American Leaders. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Harvard College.

David is SVP and the Head of NBA Investments, the corporate venture arm of the National Basketball Association. He has been leading the NBA’s efforts to make strategic investments in promising partners that help the NBA innovate on & off the court. David previously co-founded two different startup studios, one as part of SK in the chairman’s office and one with the Head of Private Equity Group at Bain & Company NY, where he previously worked as a strategy consultant. He also spent time at the early stages of Coupang and Nexon, which have since become decacorns. David received his Bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
